RE: S&W's rifle???
I believe its the S&W that has that ugly bolt......I think that's replaceable though, which begs to argue why design an ugly bolt arm?
That alone would make me walk past it....

RE: S&W's rifle???
Other than the plastic magazine the TC Icon is a very well built rifle. It seems that the early models (from what has been said about them) were not very nice but the ones we have received in our shop have be very well made. I wouldn't let that bolt handle stop me from purchasing an Icon. It can be replaced with a conventional knob style handle.
Now, the S&W I-Bolt is a different story. [:'(]

Sorry I have not been too active, just been busy. Thanks for the replies and I respect that you all do not like the gun, but why? What makes it so terrible? I am just interested in why SW would try to get back into the rifle game with such a poor product.

RE: S&W's rifle???
Bolt binds when worked, The sear acts as the bolt stop, getting the bolt in and out of the receiver is a PITA,fit and finish is crap, Stock is junk, I am sure there are other thingsI could bring up if I had one in my handright nowbut this is off the top of my head.
EDIT:
Remembered another one......... Sling swivel studs are molded plastic and part of the stock itself.
