belgian browning shotguns?
i have 3 older browning semi-auto shotguns. i inherited them from my father. i am looking to unload them as i do not need all 3. i have no idea where to find the price for these and no idea who i could sell them too. one of the guns is a belgium browning i have no way in knowing which is which. so if anybody could help me out in sending me to a place or even direct me to a site or mag that i can use to figure this out. i will post pictures if anyone shows interest in this post.

www.gunbroker.com, www.gunsamerica.com . You could check those sites for prices.
It depends on how good of shape the gun is in. Post some pics of it, I'm sure we could give you a pretty good ball park.

RE: belgian browning shotguns?
here are the pictures of the guns. there are 3 total.the gun on top is in very good condition and only showsnormal wear on the wood and thebarrel from the action. the second gun is the oldest gun i assume that it is a belgium ithas a belgium barrel on it with a poly choke on it. it has some signs of blueingdamage and much more used look to the wood. the bottom gun has a hastings barrel on it and aredfield scope 3-7power on it. it is the newest gun and it invery good condition. with no wear on it much at all. onthe very bottom is another belgium barrel. so i am left to assume that i might have 2 belgium brownings. i am not for sure. all three are solid guns and are in good workingorder. i have no idea what they would cost. itook pictures of the numbers on the guns if this might help. again i have no idea what these are worth helpme out please.

RE: belgian browning shotguns?
The top picture.... the one with ser # xxxxxPZ211 was made in 1981. That gun is of Japanese Manufacture.
The middle serial numberd gun (pic 27 I think) was made in 1967 and is in fact Belgian made.
The final serial # picture gun was made a year later in 1968, and also in Belgium.
The belgian guns "tend" historically to bring a higher price tag, and most of that has to do with the type of guys who historically used them.... older southern guys.... who having seen the Japs bomb Pearl Harbor want nothing to do with anything made in Japan. the Jap guns are made every bit as good and perhaps even better than the Belgian guns. Market trends as of late, Jap made guns with factory installed choke tubes have been bringing in the most $ (especially 20 gauges).
We could throw #s around on prices, but its hard to tell with jsut pictures... it looks like one of the belgian guns has a replacement stock on it.

RE: belgian browning shotguns?
Would be interested in hearing why. I have a Light 12 in excellent condition that I am thinking about selling or trading. It has no sentimental value, and has sat in the safe for the last 10 years or so. I am thinking about a new/slightly used Citori to replace it with. Do you think they will be worth a lot of maony soon, or is it becuase they are "better made" than today's guns? Thanks for your input.
