Default Colt Sauer I bought Today

I had a friend tell me about this Colt Sauer and I purchased it from a man in Flordia ...he will be shipping it out next Tuesday ...I love the Colt Sauer and this one is in a 7mm Mag made in 1975with a Bausch & Lomb Balvar 2.5 x 8 scope ..its not perfect but I will be using it to hunt with.

One of the best, and also most unique, bolt-action rifles ever made......

Eld your right ole buddy ..you do know your rifles ....this one has a pretty cool story behind it ....it was purchased new by the Vero Beach sherrifs department in 1975 to use as a snipper rifle..they felt like at the time that the Colt Sauer was the finest rifle in the world along withthe Bausch and Lomb Balvar scope... they wanted it to be a large enough cal. to drop a man in his tracks in case of a plane high jacking ....several years later the gentleman (retired law inforcement officer) I bought it from bought it from the Sherrifs dept ....he was a SWAT team instructor when he retired and over the years had aquired many weapons ...he is now in his 70s so he is selling off some of him collection ....
