RE: Best concealed
See, I think thats the only way I'll WANT to carry mine. Someone told me not to carry it inside my pants on the back because it will be difficult to access, if needed. Well, thats the only way I'm going to carry it. Thats better than not carrying it. Thanks.

RE: Best concealed
I pack a 1911 but only after i learned to shoot it well. I like a semi auto but I have my wife carrying a 38 SW mainly because of its simple operation. I guess my 2 cents would be carry whats comfy but be proficient in its use. for example my wife has small hands and she has a real tough time with the slides on autos and face it sometimes these things hang up or jam so the revolver is ideal as far as reloading she has been taught to shoot two rounds and see whats next. I have never drawn my weapon in defense but unfortunately she has (thug with ill intentions) she pulled it and said "I have a gun!!!!" and he left quickly. use what your comfy with and hope you never need it. I have a slide holster for the 1911 but i have just tucked it away my wife carrys in her purse or on the one occasion in her coat pcket. she said I just had a feeling.

RE: Best concealed
I gotta agree with SwampCollie on this, I just purchased the SW 340PD and I absolutely love it! It's pictured here with my 686 (both in .357 / .38). I use it for all the reasons mentioned, small/light, easy to pull out and conceal, just a pleasure to carry. I will say it's a handfull to shoot - especially with the .357 magnums. I looked at and shot a lot of guns and admit to being a revolver guy, but this just fit. Good luck in your search.
For what it's worth, my wife just got a SW 60 in 2 1/8", .357 / .38 and is very pleased with it. A little heavier at about 24 ozs, but a really nice, comfortable shooter.
