Default .22 ammo question

there is some ammo out there that is very slow like 500 or 800 fps and there is some hyper velocity stuff that is like 1800 fps. i wondered if you had the 500 or 800 fps ammo in a semi auto gun then right behind it the hyper velocity stuff and you shot the 2 rounds out as fast as you could would they hit eachother in your barrel?

(im not plannning on doing this by the way)

No, because even at 500 fps the bullet would most likely already be in the target before the action finished it's cycle and you could pull the trigger again. Further more unless you have a modified gun it will not cycle with the 500-800 fps ammo. Most semi autos need at least long rifle ammo to function correctly, shorts and CB's will shoot out of them, but you will have cycle the action manually. And if you had a gun that would function with the slower ammo, shooting the hyper velocity stuff would be pretty hard on it eventually.

The youtube reference I made was a corrolation to your previous vid of shooting into water. Stupid thing to do but done anyways. 'Member that thread? Curiosity killed the cat and youth has a lot of curiosity. Put two and two together and see things from the other side of the inquiry table given the recent past.
