Default give me a hand.

looking for a 223rem or something that i can use to plink ( already own a 22WMR )and maybe use for coyote hunting.
any ideas on a good rifle to get for this? i don' t want to spend top dollar for a browning that i won' t use as much.i am looking for a bolt action.
also to note:
in my state i don' t have a license to get any gun that holds or can hold more than 10 rounds. so all of the fun guns like AR-15' s are out.

or do you think i should maybe go with a 220 swift or myabe the 22-250?

Id take Robert scott' s advice, get the Savage in .223, sense ur gonna be doing alot of plinking and .223 ammo is cheaper than 22-250.

The .223 will do what you want, I would say look at Savage, varmint configuration, just make sure it has the new accu-trigger. The stock may be ugly as sin but Bell and Carlson makes some nice Savage heavy barrel replacement stocks.

Looks like Savage is drawing all the attention.Check the Winchester M-70" Coyote" . I bought one early last year in 223 for about 550.00 from Bass Pro.It' s a real nice rifle.

I think that you should use the 22-250 because the 220 swift is just to fast for any thing but target shooting.Plus the wind would play with the bullet of the 220 swift.
