I have a MKIIF (synthetic stock) and a Ruger 10/22. The savage beats the ruger for accuracy (at least in my hands).
I'm not saying the little 10/22 isn't a tack driver, but the Savage has tighter groups at the same yardage with the same ammo. Once again, it may just be my shooting and my preference forthe little bolt action over the semi 10/22.
