I thinking about buying a Weatherby Mark V Super Varmint Master Single Shot 220 Swift, but I might buy the S&W 500 Hunter instead. It' s going to be a very hard choice. Good luck.

Just looked at Corbons ballistics on this cartrige and HOLY CRAP that thing shoots the same weight bullet at the same velosity as their 45-70 loads and it does it out of a handgun.

That is one hell of a cartrige.

Looks like a nice revolver. $ 1000.00 looks kinda steep for it though.I' m more then satisfied with my SRH 454 Casull.I haven' t forgotten what S&W did either,caving into the Clinton adminstration.

I think I will stick with my SRH in .44 Magnum! I don' t like the recoil of the .454 Casull and I would imagine the .500 magnum to be a good bit worse.
