Ah, but if you roll your own ammo, the brass becomes the most important part. You can have the best powder and bullet combination in the world, but if your brass is misshapen, of improper size, or inconsistant from one peice to the next, you will never get the kind of accuracy your rifle is capable of. It may not make a whole lot of difference for hunting applications, but becomes really important when the ammo is used, and the brass is reused in competition, whether it be benchrest or high power rifle.
