That rifle was made in 1950. Depending upon the condition it's probably a $400.00 or more rifle easily.

If you do not buy it, let me know. Have him send me a couple of pictures if you do not buy it. Thanks, Tom.

hey tom there is a website locally in middle tennessee where you can buy everything www.golsn.com some people use pay pal just like on e-bay,they have a lot of guns on there and some are steals.I saw one of the little browning 22 rifles sell for $100 on there and the lucky man that bought it sold it on there the next day for $300 OR $350 THATS SERIOUS PROFIT IN 24HOURS,most of the guns aren;t that cheap, but it came from a lady that was selling out her late husbands gun collection one at a time she sold an airweight S&W pistol for around $150 or so and a browning a-bolt 270 for $225 I missed out on all of these they were already sold when I would get in contact with her you might check it out.LSN stands for local sales network.check it out they have pictures of a lot of the guns and some folks give their phone #'s so you can talk about payment or shipping if you cant meet face to face.

Appraised at $900??? By who??? That rifle would have to be NIB, with the box to be worth what he wants. I would sell the rifle to the appraiser. Tom.

thanks for the heads up... i don't want to "insult my buddy" but i don't want to get screwed on a gun or lose a frienship over it.... my guess is maybe he had it appraised for insurance purposes or just got a wrong figure... .ill throw this info to him and try to handle as diplomatically as possible cause i really do like the gun but not losing a friend over....

I buy and sell a lot of used firearms. I sell a lot of lever actions. The pre-64 model 94's are at a premium right now because Winchester has "temporarily" suspended production. But that price is still way too high. the last pre-64 model 94 I sold(about one month ago) was for $450. The rifle was in 85-90% condition. the bore was 95%+. I think your friend is fooling himself. Your best bet is to walk away and not say anything, no need to loose a friend because of his mistake. Tom.
