1shot kill, nailed it with phrases like:

" Extension of yourself " and " Confidence"

That is what guys strive for is feel and confidence in a weapon. How or whats make them arrive at that point is what varies, but the underlining point is the same. They feel like they can HIT that deer or animal given the shot opp.

My first car was an old Dodge and at the time it was the BEST thing on the road! Give it time and go to a gunshow and see what else the " WORLD has to offer, you might change your mind...[]

I have a Rem 710 in 270 and it shoot very well I would consider buying another one. I put some camo tape on mine and it gave it a totally different feel and look.

I dont care what type of model or make, as long as you can put a 1 to 2 inch group at a hundreds, than if so The rifle is worthy for hunting.

Ranger66, maybe all that tape can help keep it from falling apart. You guys that are singing the praises of these pieces of work, did you check out the safety recalls on them?

Yes I did check out the recall and mine wasn' t one of those with the problem. My 270 gets under 1" groups @100 with 100grain HP reloads and also 130 grain reloads, and have taken groundhogs out to 250+ yards so far with it. I am very pleased with my gun.
