Default 7mmWSM

i have not heard really anything about the 7mmWSM since it has come out. have they come out with differant types of factory ammo than the three? i know that the 300WSM seems to be a bit more popular with new selections from federal

Quilly, the 7mmWSM is the least popular of the three winchester has brought out so far. They changed the neck length and shoulder position to fix a feeding problem and in doing this they delayed release and gave remington the better cartridge design.Winchester has been the one fighting feed problems the most out of all manufactures so far and this really helped remington get a leg up on them in the 7mm market. The 270WSM has remington making ammo for it already including a swift scirroco loading, the 300WSM has no less than nine loadings happening for it with 5 from winchester and 4 from federal.Smart money is on the 7mmSAUM to be the 7mm to make it in the short mag wars and I agree with this logic.Remington has always been known for 7mm offerings(7mm mag/7mm-08) and I think this will follow thru to the 7mmSAUM also. The 7mm WSM won't fit their model 7 so they have vested interest to keep pushing the 7mmSAUM also. The fade outs will be slow but I look for the 7mmWSM to slowly bow out with time and the 270WSM and 300WSM to continue for decades to come. The question now is what new caliber will come next(25-6.5-33-35) and by whom?I am amazed at the variety of factory ammo available for my 300WSM already including $18.99@ box power points from wally world already.
