I beg to differ. The cartridge is great but the 710 is a piece of junk. Why buy a rifle that has already had several recalls in only a few years? Besides the trigger is sandpaper, the bolt binds and in most cases can be pulled clean out of the gun, and the barrel is pressed in. Most reputable gun stores now refuse to sell the things. I don't know how anyone could go wrong with any of the cartridges mentioned above...My favorites would be the 260 rem ,7-08,308 or 270. I wish Remington would pull the plug on the 710 myself. I going to die laughing if I continue to see their ads on this piece of work.

Okay guys we need to lay off the Remington 710.We're not only hurting some people's feelings but might give them a complex.LOL. Why did I know the 710 would make this post?
