Kenny Jarrett or NULA would be my choice.
Perhaps Brown Precision Rifles would be another great choice.
The brand of action to start with? For a factory action I would choose Remington

If cost is no factor why are you looking at a Savage,Tikka or a Browning?

Take money out of it and I would go with this:

Either that or the QR would be a nice weapon.

I was thinking the same thing.

I would think a custom gun on a Howa or remington action would be your best bet.

Finally saw someone (retrieverman) say Sauer. While most of the guns already mentioned are as accurate, or nearly as accurate, none really match the beauty of a Supreme Lux Sauer 202. It has the beauty and the brains if you will. The rich, deep bluing....the superbly finished wood, and a bolt that is unequivocallythe smoothest bolt out thereby comparison of any of the sub MOA rifles. I know most of you have not taken the test drive. My advice isnot to, or you will probably be takingone home with you.

I've never had a problem with the operation of any of my Remingtons, Savages, Brownings, or even my Marlins. All the rifles I've ever owned, could shoot better than I can.

What exactly does this have to do with reliability and accuracy ? Let me give you a simple answer ..NONE. If they are so reliable why aren't African and Alaskan guides using them exclusively? Why aren't they the basis for long range competition rifles and or hunting rifles? Inquiring minds want to know.

Thats easy sako
+1

One thing that has always concerned me about the so-called hi end customs, is that they. in most cases, have to highly modify and existing rifle just to get sub MOA. A stock from this guy, a barrel here, an action from a donor, trigger job, glass bed ...

Sako, just pull from the shelf, hook up some glass, and pull the trigger. Pretty simple.
