There is nothing wrong with your selections for everything from mice to dinosaurs. If I were to change anything I would dump the 340 Weatherby and the 458 Lottand include the 45-70. Not much difference between the 300 WM or the 300WSM. As for the 416, I'd go with the Rem. Others would be the 375 H&H over the Ruger even though the Ruger is a bit more potent at least on paper. But ammo for the Ruger may be a problem if you need more in a pinch.
Also I would go with the 500 NE instead of the 577 NE. I never shot either one of these but I would assume that the recoil for either is way beyond comfortable and although there probably is a difference in recoil between the two - once you get past the "OUCH" factor this becomes a mute point.
It sure is nice to dream. I would love someday to be in the dark continent chasing the really big dangerous critters carrying a H&H 375 and/or a 500NE double rifle. But I would have to win the lottery to be able to afford one of these rifles. Or at least sell of most of my present guns.
