Remming rifles, values....?

I've a colleague willing to part with both a Remmington 720 and a 721. Both are in pretty good shape, bluing a bit thin on the 721. Both are .270's and appear sound. He was thinking maybe $300 for he 720 and $250-300 for the 721. Reasonable?
