50 cal bmg

RE: 50 cal bmg
I have shot them as well in the Army. The Barret models. They are fun to shoot, though not really practical for much of anything. IF you decide to buy a .50, I would strongly suggest that you look into the Cobb, or the Armalite .50 Rifles. It is my opinion, that quality wise, they are every bit as good, if not better. Their customer service is better for sure. They both cost less by a pretty good amount depending on the models.
Personally, if you are looking for a good long range rifle ( 1500-2000 yds under perfect conditions, and 1000-1500 under good) then you should take a look at the .338 Lapua Mag. Google the caliber, and the history. You will most likely be impressed with the energy, and capability.
