BC, I agree with everything you stated above other than the trigger. On my A1 SPR the trigger had a small amount of creep and tripped at 4 lbs 14ozs which is to heavy for my taste. It now breaks like glass 2lbs. I cant believe how easy the barrel is to clean also!

True I work on them to tune some, but honestly I push them from a sales standpoint because the customer is usually very satisfied. I mounted the scope and sighted the guns if the customer bought all from me,can't say I was ever really disappointed by a 700 or seven that couldn't be easily fixed but most were easy.

I have worked on (or "adjusted") the triggers on just about every rifle I ever had. It is possible that the CZ's could have been left alone, but even the older Rugers needed some adjustment. This includes rifles with single-set and double-set triggers.
