Remington 870 Question
I'm a lefty shooter and looking to buy another 870 Express, but in left handed this time instead of righty. Most of the 870's I see have a 28" bird barrel sold with them instead of a 26" or shorter like on the right handed 870 I have. Does anyone know if new left handed 870's are sold with barrels of 26" or less? Sorry for any confusion.
Also, I will look at otherbrands in the same price range as an 870 that have a lefty ejection. What other brandsof pumpsor single shots would anyone recommend for the lefty shooter? Thanks in advance.

Browning BPS
I'm not sure if they make a lefty version with a shorter barrel. I think its around $80 to have a barrel whacked off and re-threaded around here to whatever length you want. That might be an option for you as well.

RE: Remington 870 Question
I just checked the remington sight and it looks like the only lefty 870 is the express with a 3" chamber and 28" barrel. I'm lefty too and I have 3 870s. A 20 ga youth camo I use for turkey, a 20 ga express 28" for grouse, and a 12 ga Express Super mag, 28" barrel 3 1/2" chamber for waterfowl.
I have no problems using these right handed shotguns except once in a while I get powder blowback when shooting into a stiff wind and cycling the action.

RE: Remington 870 Question
Thanks for the help fellas. I think that solves everything. I'll get a Browning BPS deer gun w/ cantilever and a Lefty 870 then have the barrel "whacked off and rethreaded".
