Winchester Model 70 Returns

Winchester has released a press release announcing the return of the Model 70 bolt action rifle for 2008. The news is so fresh, in fact, that Winchester’s website has yet to be updated and still refers to the Model 70 as a historic firearm.

This is a better built version of the old gun . The only thing I question is the trigger..the old was perfection. June 2008 . If I find a 338 all weather version it is mine

I want a model 70 featherweightin the .325 WSM. It will probably have a pretty good kick but I always liked the featherweights and I want to try to .325 WSM.

The trigger was my favorite of all the factory "affordable" rifles. It was very easy to get an outstanding trigger on the old 70's with just a little polishing.
