Default 25-06 performance ?

I was looking at a Remington 700 BDL in 25-06 and was wondering if anyone had any experience using them on for deer and how are they on
accuracy and does it have enough knock down power?

Yes they have plenty of power. I was going to get one but i got into bear hunting so i needed something a little bigger. It would have worked fine on PA bears but i just wanted to know i had enough power if i came across a big bear so i got a 300 WSM.

I've used 25-06 on deer and they usually drop instantly at the shot with a stiff load topped with nosler ballistic tips. This round is good to 400+ yards.

A 25-06 Rem will cover you in just about any deer size and smaller shooting situation you can get into. With good bullets and a good shooter you can confidently take black bear and elk. It is also a devasting varmit cartridge out to 500 yards.

Does Remington offer the 700 BDL in 25-06? I didn't think so but whatever gun you select, in my experience, longer barrel is better. faster twist is better. good trigger is a must.

A 25-06 makes a darn good long range western lope, deer, and yote rifle.

I have a BDL in 25-06 and have shot 10-12 deer with it with no troubles ever. It has plenty of power and is a flat shooter. You will be very pleased.

We have one in a Ruger #1 and you can cover three shoots with a quarter at 100 yards. It is a excellent long range gun.
