What .22 action?

RE: What .22 action?
Although I have semi-autos I have started off both my boys with bolt action .22's. Since the goal was to get them to concentrate on the first shot I like the bolt action, single shot or with a mag. better than the semi's. This is not to say I haven't had fun with my semi's.

RE: What .22 action?
I'm going to go ahead and give my answer to both parts of your question. Ruger 10/22 Semi auto. great fun to shoot. I've only had a few jams in the years I've owned mine. I have been known to go out and burn through 2 550 round boxes in a day without cleaning. most of the time when there has been a problem it has been a misfire as opposed to a jam. Although I don't really reccomend abusing your firearm like this, The 10/22 is a solid platform and can handle it. In addition to that, the 10/22 has an immense amount of aftermarket parts and accessoriess.

RE: What .22 action?
i have a rossi single shot, but for some reason i would prefer a fixed barrel bolt action, instead of a break barrel design. i think im gonna save and get a 5 shot bolt, or trade my rossi 22/410 for a savage single or something.
