We shoot over 500 rounds a weekend with a .22. So when we shoot our rifles we have hada lot of pratice shooting. Practicing with a .22 is one of the best ways to get used to shooting with a scope. We'll sit on the back of a porch and shoot turtles in the pond anywhere from 50 - 80 yards with our .22's. So when we get a chance to shoot our rifles we have no problems with them. It is hard to shoot more than a couple boxes on a weekend with a rifle so the more she can practice the better she will be.
