Save your money and get a 3" gun. The only place a 3.5" shotgun shell will outperform a 3" is in a turkey load. For geese shoot the fastest steel load you can find. I personally shoot all Kent Faststeel #2s at geese, and it stones 'em out to 50 yards. Wednesday I had a pair land at almost 60 yards outside my decoy spread and I turkeyed the first one and the second one didn't make it 2ft off the ground and it was laying belly up. Those were shot with my new shotgun from last week, a 21" barrelled 870 Express with a Modified choke.
