Herter's Scopes
I buught a used scope at a medical benefit and the only information I can find stamped on it is Herter's brand. I know they have someone else make them for them and put their name on them but has anybody had any experience with them? It is a 3 x 9 x 40 and I figure I'll stick it on a old .243 I have to use as a backup and loaner gun for kids. I also picked up a Simmons scope brand new from the benefit I got them both for less than $125. I have a .30-06 I can put the Simmons on but I want to put a Zeiss on it later though the Simmons would be a good temporary scope for it.

Frankly, I don't remember their scopes! Like who made them, etc. Must have been the Japanese however........
