Default 1.008 alaskan?

i though i saw something about a rifle caliber that big but i cant find anything, is it real or am i imagining things again. if its not that then its somewhere close, it might be a blackpowder, but im pretty sure i have seen a caliber like that somewhere.

If such a critter exists, I believe it would be labled a destructive device by the BATFE. In wich case it would fall under NFA rules and require the $200 tax stamp. And, it would also depend if your state allowed DD. I could be wrong though.
