RE: Tikka Tactical
Almost all the tikkas I've seen shot better than they had any business shooting. In fact, some was more accurate than the higher priced parent sako. As to actual tactical model, while I havn't worked on or shot any, however I see no reason why they wouldn't shoot as good or better than the standard models.

RE: Tikka Tactical
I have a Tikka T3 in .338 federal. So far, the only problem was the factory Tikka scope mounts. I have since replaced them with Leupold twist in type and with the Federal Premium 185 gr barnes TSX's it shoots slightly under 1" MOA with me shooting it. I am by far NOT a very good rifle shooter so that kind of performance is impressive

I don't have any experience with the Tactical either, but as others have said it should be an excellent choice. My T3 in .25-06 is a pleasure to shoot. My only complaint was with the rings, so I replacedthem with Warnerings. They are probably overkill for a .25-06 but I know my scope ain't going to move! I have heard that many of the newer Tikka's are coming from the factory with better rings, but I can't personally vouch for that.
