22lr/22mag revolver
Anybody have any experience with any 22 caliber revolvers that are convertible from 22lr to 22mag by changing the cylinder? I am aware of the Ruger Single Six but wanted to look at some others before decidingif I wanted to purchase. I heard Heritage made one also, but I haven't seen one of theirs andI know nothing about their quality. Any comments on the Heritage quality or recommendations of other manufacturersthat I am not aware of?
thanks,

RE: 22lr/22mag revolver
The only ones I have ever seen were the rugers. My step father had one, and I owned one for a while as well. I was perfectly happy with both of them. I liked my browing Buckmark better, but for for the money the ruger was a great little gun. And there is just something about a single action revolver.

I have an old school Herters (made in Mitchell, SD) single action that is a convertible. Great shooting lil gun. I hate to take it out an use it too much, as it was my grandpa's pride an joy (his only pistol he ever owned). I've always wanted to get myself a nice Ruger convertible, so I say go for it!
