RE: Remington Model Seven CDL
I have the Remington Model Seven in .308. I have only had one problem with the rifle. A $25 fix due to a metal burr stretching a spring. Other than that this rifle is a tackdriver. I can consistantly clover leaf three at 100yards. The .308 is bad juju for any deer or black bear walking in front of it, also the light weight is a pleasure to carry all day. For deer and bear I would recommend something in the 180 grain cartridge size. Hope this helps.

I own a rem. model 7 in 7mm-08 , and it has probably become my most favorite rifle. I have 6 different rifles from .243 to 30.06 and the light weight , compact package, reliability, and accuracy have made it a joy to hunt with. I can only believe, since I also have a .308 in a different rifle, that a .308 in that model rifle would be just as good if not better. The .308 is a great round. You can't go wrong with a model 7.
