Justin we have a local chainstore here that beats Walmart on most gun prices and carries a better selection of guns to answer your question .I bought My 700 ADL for $349.00 with a sythetic stock . I have six rifles with synthetic and like them very much because of the low maintenance.

i don't know i would pay that much $$$ for a remington nowadays. for that price you can get a nice savage in 270win.
