Unbelieveable Opinion on gun control on CNN
I read this article on CNN what an absolute idiot!
http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/04/18/commentary.plate/index.html
"So let's just disregard all the hoopla about the race of the student responsible for the slayings. These students were not killed by a Korean, they were killed by a 9 mm handgun and a .22-caliber handgun."
I don't care what race he was a person had to make the decision to pull the trigger!!
Also the NUGE has an article on CNN.
www.cnn.com/2007/US/04/19/commentary.nugent/index.html
If you haven't seen this poll about gun control on ABC.com go here and place your vote.

BTW ..... C.N.N. stands for the Communist News Network.... not Clinton N.N.
Any .. I digress... here is a quote from the man in the article...
These students were not killed by a Korean, they were killed by a 9 mm handgun and a .22-caliber handgun.
Last month, I was robbed at 10 in the evening in the alley behind my home. As I was carrying groceries inside, a man with a gun approached me where my car was parked. The gun he carried featured one of those red-dot laser beams, which he pointed right at my head.
Because I'm anything but a James Bond type, I quickly complied with all of his requests.
Perhaps because of my rapid response (it is called surrender), he chose not to shoot me; but he just as easily could have. What was to stop him?
This occurred in Beverly Hills, a low-crime area dotted with upscale boutiques, restaurants and businesses -- a city best known perhaps for its glamour and celebrity sightings.
Oh, and police tell me the armed robber definitely was not Korean. Not that I would have known one way or the other: Basically the only thing I saw or can remember was the gun, with the red dot, pointed right at my head.
A near-death experience does focus the mind. We need to get rid of our guns.
Now....... I thought, according to him, that the man does not kill. The 9mm and the .22 killed those people.
But he was worried about the man killing him, when he actually should have been worried about the mans GUN killing him....
A man paid to write a newspaper article.... so ignorant and blind .... that he doesn't even see he is a hypocrit whose own article contradicts the very premise of his thoughts.
LAUGHABLE !!!
We should also tell our military in Iraq to lay down their weapons.... and according to this guy.... then the killing will stop.... We should also tell Iran that we are laying down our weapons and missiles ... and I am sure they will do the same..... take away the weapons, and we will all get along like one big happy family .... some people are so diluded.

RE: Unbelieveable Opinion on gun control on CNN
I suppose we could follow the way of the "enlightened" Europeans and Asian countries with their strict laws of virtually no private ownership or use of firearms. What did the fact that neither Germans, Russians nor Chinese people had the means (firearms in private well trained hands) to stop totalitarian regimes give the world? In WWII alone there were an estimated 72 million military and civilian deaths. Communism resulted in an estimated 100 million deaths for the same reason.
In other words, as terrible as it is to see the massacre of innocents at VT and authorities should intervene much sooner to stop such a person. It would take 5 million of these mass murders to come close to equaling the much more terrible carnage and destruction of the wars and totalitarian government mass murders that were enabled because responsible citizens of Germany, Russia and China had no firearms to stop these brutal regimes in just the last century.
I'll defend our peoples' 2nd Amendment right to keep and responsibly use firearms today and forever.

Of course guns kill people, just like booze makes you drink. That's why prohibition was such a success in this country and why to this day no one in this country ever drinks alcohol.

I would bet it all on .....If CNN were mailed the tapes of that nut we would have all seen them full length and in HD. They were so proud of their exclusive on the nut's common sitting area in the dorm. What a bunch of goofs.
