Ruger K77/22 VMBZ 22 WMR
I'm looking at a new 22 and have an eye for the Ruger in 22 mag. I was wondering if anyone has one and how the liked it "Out of the box." Specifically, accuracy, ease of use (the safety seems weird), rotary magazine (are they any good?? jam or smooth?). Thanks for any and all comments.

No experience with the rifle, but the magazines work good. The rotary factory mags that I have for my 10/22 feed great. They do wear out after a while, though, and start having problems cycling all of the rounds through.

WTG,How many round's beforeissue's start to spring up? 1,000-10,000 or more? I have two young fellas who will probably put quite a few down range.

I've never really kept track, but I'd guess it's in the neighborhood of 5,000. Maybe less. Not too bad. I go through a lot of ammo with my 10/22. I just picked up a new factory magazine from Wal-Mart for $15 yesterday.
