That Kahr is about double the price, but way better protection.

Consider a 38 snubbie revolver with an internal hammer.
They make them pretty light, and they also come in 32H&R mag.

I scared the hell out of a group of non native Americans with that little 25 one night. They might still be running.

You asked for it so here's my $.02 worth. First off,a .25 does help you win the fist fight that ensues after emptying it into someone IF you use it as a mini version of brass knucks. Yes,a .25 will kill in some instances, however it will NOT stop someone without a extremely lucky, well placed shot!
My two reccomendations are 2 guns I'm familier with and have shot several different 1s instead of being limited to just 1 example. The first should need little introduction is the seecamp. It comes in both .32 AND a .380 the SAME size. http://seecamp.com/
The second is the smallest, lightest 9mm available. it is the roghbaugh.

These arethe 2 smallest guns that I personally trust.I call them my "Jesus guns" because if/when I would have to pullit-SOMEBODY'S gunna meet Jesus!

Stalkingbear,

The last part of your post was funny!

I've heard of the rohrbaugh and even shot one once. It was a nice gun. The price is scary though. I'm going to see what the seecamp runs.

Thanks

Tom

I thought yall would like that part. The rogrbaughs run approx. $1000,the .32 seecamp runs about $400,not sure how much the .380 flavor is going for. They are high but in my opinion, are absolute best in their class. And you can't put a price on your life,or go back at moment of need and trade up.

I have a Kel-Tec P32 and I have never had any problems with it. It is my regular pocket gun. I carry it in my pocket for weeks and pull it out and pop off a few rounds without having any feeding problems. I love it, and would only give it up if I were going to get a P-3AT. They came out the year after I bought my P32.

Stalkingbear,

I just checked and there are very few places around me that carry the Seecamp. I called Guns Galore in Fenton and this is what they said, "Yeah it will take us about a year to get that for you and the cost will be between $600 and $800." I asked them if they could give me a diffinitive price and they said no. They said it depends on the market.

Are you sure on your $400 price? I'm going to call around to some of the other shops but they are hours away.

Called another place and they said pretty much the same thing. About a year but I was able to get an exact price. $750. The .32 Seecamp is about $400. Pretty big difference.

Does anyone know of a reference for .32 vs .380 penetrating power?

I'm asking because I'm concerned about not being able to penetrate winter jackets with the smaller .32. Is there cause for concern?

Thanks

Tom

Thanks for the link. Unfortunetly the prices are high and I'd still have to pay another $50 for an FFL. Probably not the route that I'll go. I think I may put a deposit on one for December. Which is totally nuts. I sure wish I could shoot them both.

Thanks for all the info.
