I recently bought a 270 caliber and really like it but would have to say that my 260 caliber Browning A Bolt is still my favorite deer rifle .The recoil is mild ,the ballistics are good ,and there are few calibers that can approach the sectional density of the 140 grain 260 caliber bullet .The 260 caliber teamed with Speer Grand Slam 140 grain bullets is a deer killing combination for me .
