RE: Barrel Cleaning Question For the Gurus
Nice reads fellas!
One of these days we'll see if my hour of scrubbing the bore paid off. I don't feel like laying in a snowbank shooting groups. [:'(]

RE: Barrel Cleaning Question For the Gurus
I'd be suprised if it shot great clean as I'd suspect the copper built up caused some pitting in the bore and you'll need to fillem' up before it comes back to its own. I have never let a new gun of mine get this bad but have had a few used and friends rifleswhere it took lots of elbow grease to get a clean patch then foulers to see its potential on target. Please let us know how it goes and your results.
BTWI use Shooter Choice, Sweets or Cr10 for copper and BC Sheath/Barricade.
Tools: Dewey 1 piece coated rods, bore guides(sinclair and stoney point currently), for caliber bronze brushs, jags and cotton patchs.
