Default Which one should I buy?

Alright, I'm buying a new shotgun for turkey hunting, and I've narrowed it down to these two-
Remington 870 Express Turkey Camo
OR
Mossberg 535 ATS Turkey Synthetic

Please tell me which one youwould chooseor any comments in general about either of these guns. Thanks.

If it was me,there would be no question about it. In my opinion, the remington is better made than mossberg. While both are reliable,I like design and colser tolerences of the 870 over the mossbergs that have reputation of forearms that rattle.

I like the smoothness of the 870 myself, but I haven't had any functional problems with my Mossy 500 either.

If you keep the safety on until just before you shoot, the Mossy's ambidextrous tang safety might give you a slight advantage for an off-side shot if you hunt on the ground, and are willing to shoot with the opposite hand, should the situation call for it.

Just a thought. You could easily off-safethe gun before changing shoulders.

I have both and hunted deer with both of them. The Mossberg is probably cheaper to buy. And that forearm rattle, they have had that forever.I call itmy built in rattle bag But seriously both are fine guns.
