personally i dont think you'll find any sweeter than the Ruger, but there is also a company called Heritage arms i believeis the name. They can be found by a search on gunsamerica.com and they have interchangable cylinders.

RE: Is there a 22 mag pistol?
I have had a Ruger Super Single Six with 22/22magnum cylinders for 20 years, and it is a nice pistol. I also have a S&W M650 22 magnum that is a BETTER pistol. Ruger makes very good guns, but in my opinion, Smith and Wesson, for all their political correctness faults, still makes the best wheelguns on the market. The S&W models to look for are M48 and M51 in blued guns and M648, M650, and M651 in stainless models.
