Ruger S/S All Weather or Remington Seven in a 350 Rem. Mag.
I’m seriously considering getting one the rifles mentioned in a 350 Rem. Mag. I have handled both and find they handle very well. I know the difference between the two.
The Ruger in S/S with synthetic stock c/w 22” barrel, no sights vs. the Remington blue barrel with wood stock c/w 20” barrel & iron sights. The Ruger has been discontinued but I still can get my hands on a couple were as the Remington is still available and stock is plenty.
I have intentions on reloading for this cartridge, so the question is, can one handle longer bullet then the other in the magazine. I guess this is my only dilemma. Would any one have any idea? Is there anything else that I might have missed when comparing the two???

They're both good rifles so really which style do you prefer? Does one fit better? I have a custom KS model 7 in .350 myself which has a kevlar stock and 20" barrel which I love. 5 3/4 lbs without scope, joy to carry all day and believe me you don't need to shoot twice!

Thanks Terry, both should work well. I was just wondering if they both have the same length of magazine but for some reason just looking at the Ruger, it just might have a little extra as for lengths. I guess I’ll just have to go back and look at them again...

Who told you the Ruger All Weather is discontinued? Not so. Depends on your preference of action. Personally I think the mauser action is the cream of the crop. I'd pay more attention to the twist rate on the barrel to stabilize heavier bullets. The 225 gr partition is probably the best all around 35 cal bullet. Although I think I'll be trying the new 225 gr accubonds in my whelen.
