who still loves the .41 mag?
Recently, I've purchased a new TAURUS Tracker .41 mag stainless.
I was wondering how many other guys out there still find the .41 mag valuable. I've owned the .44 mags and been caught up in the ammo availability for them, but i've settle down a shade and sold off past loves (NRA stamped S&W .44 mag) when I had to.
My father has an old Ruger he swears by for deer and bear. As long as someone keeps selling ammo on line I should be good.
I was just wondering what YOU guys thought of the .41?

I own the S&W Model 357PD .41 magnum. This revolver is so much more fun to shoot than my .44, and in my opinion, every bit as good. Why, because all the old guys in the know loved them. MV out!

My father has an old Super blackhawk, double action he swears by for deer and bear. As long as someone keeps selling ammo on line I should be good.

Anyways...I went with a BH in .41 BH years ago just because it gives such great balistics and it's not the almighty .429 magnum which most refer to as the .44 magnum. Still have that gun and it's a great performer. Looks like it'll be joined by a Marlin 1894Fg in .41 mag quite soon.

I own two Blackhawks in .41 Mag. One is my "go-to" shooter, and the other is NIB for my grandson some day. I enjoy shooting the .41 much better than the .44 Mag. I handload for both.

The .41 magnum is likely the most underrated revolver cartridge in modern history. It will do almost anything the .44mag will, with flatter trajectory and less recoil. nuff said?

I just bought one last Friday. It's aBlackhawk with 4 5/8ths barrel. I bought a set of hogue grips for it too. It seems to like the Winchester 240gr platnums pretty well, 6 shots 3/4x1 1/4 center to center at 25 yards.I picked up some 210gr Federal Fusions this morning. So far i own all four boxes of 41mag up for sale in my county. I have owned it 4 days and already put over a hundred bucks worth of ammo through it. I love it, i can hardly keep my hands off. This gun just feels natural in your hand. I spent some bucks at Midway for dies, cases and 5 differant boxes of bullets. I can't wait to blood her on deer this fall.

I like my Blackhawk enough to have purchased a Marlin lever in 41 mag to go with it

I'm pretty lucky, the two major gun shops in my town carry odd ball stuff. They may only have one or two boxes, but one or the other will have it. Hell the newer of the two has a box of 50-140 3 1/4 Sharps. It costs 98 bucks but they got it, along with 257 Roberts and 32-20. One of the small shops around here did try telling me that nobody loadsthe 41anymore.
