Take it you are not a reloader??? These are bullets only, the .308 is the diameter of bullet the 3006 uses.

Federal loads the 168gr seirra matchking for the 06'.

It depends a lot on what your gun likes. The standard twist for the 30-06 is 1 in 10", but he Browning B78 and Husquvarna barrels are 1 in 12" twist. I have a B78 30-06 that can put 3 shots in 3" at 300yds using factory winchester 150gr ballisticsivertips. It's just a hunting rifle so I haven't tried it any further than that. I wouldn't say that's very good for long range "sniping", but plenty good for hunting. My wife has a custom 30-06 on a mauser 98 action that will put my handloads using 150gr B-Tips and 50.5gr of Ramshot TAC into one ragged hole at 100yds. Haven't tried it at longer range yet. Not sure what the twist is on this one either.

I used your link to see if they had federal, which they did and thenI pasted it for you in my reply. These are loaded 3006 cartridges with the 168gr Seirra Matchking bullet (top of the page when the link opens up - no image available). If your still confused here is a link to federal cartridge:http://www.federalcartridge.com/ballistics/Ammo_Search.aspx?act=choose&firearm=1&s1=1
