Springfield XD 40 Tactical if clothing allows. Taurus Tracker in 357 almost every day in plain sight on my hip. I usually don't get too far from my pickup where there is a good 4-9 guns at all times, so I'm ready for almost any situation

Jerry was that a two legged or 4 legged threat, I wouldn't be asking but any failure to stop is a concern to me and everyone else who carries for protection. I've always felt that a .22 in the hand beat a .44 in the safe everytime. I tend to carry my little Kel Tech 380 often since it's so easy to conceal. Glenn

Fornra- It was of the two-legged variety while I was in Iraq. Got into a close quarters sticky situation, got one round off out of my M4 and had a double feed. Rather than cycle my action, I pulled out the Beretta 92 that I carried(9mm). Put12 rounds into the guy, but he manged to empty half of his magazine at me. Have never figured out why I didn't get hit, but that is beside the point. Anyways, yeah put12 of 15 rounds into his chest and one more in his neck, but it did not stop him. Plain as that. Luckily our overwatch saw him througha window and put the240B on him. That put him down.Because of this, I will never trust my life to a9mm of any make, nor will I allow any friend of mine too without great protest.
