Seems like the only posts I can offer advice on here lately are yours...what gives?
Anyhow, the gunsmith at our shop had the same issue with a customer of mine's .460. I acctually called Smith to see what they recommended using. They did recommend warne, and also Leupold scopes. The gunsmith fixed the problem by (and this was a first for me) using two sets of rings to hold the thing in place. Overkill...perhaps...but it did fix the issue.
I am glad you have yours worked out. They are pretty neat...and when a 454 Casull is a plinking round...you know you have a beast.
