Anyone here own a rifle from Christensen Arms?

RE: Anyone here own a rifle from Christensen Arms?
Not exactly. But I had one in my shop for some work a few years back. Looked it over thoroughly. They are extremely light for the heavy barrel profile. Workmanship was very good. About three years ago, one of my hunting companions was working for a local aerospace industrial company and got real involved in carbon fiber technology. Just for fun, we wrapped the barrel on one of my personal guns (.22-250 Ackley Improved with Hart 1:14 barrel). I liked it so well we also did my .308 sniper rifle.
Both of these guns shot real well before the carbon fiber sleeve was applied, so there wasn't much to improve upon in terms of groups. But the carbon fiber added an element of consistency to the guns that was not there before. I later did a rifle for a guy who was going sheep hunting. On this one, I reduced the barrelprofile to a ridiculously small diameter to save weight - and Cryo froze it for good measure. It shot pretty well.
