Buying My First Gun

RE: Buying My First Gun
since your looking for a 270 pump the only choices i can think of is a remington 760 gamemaster or 7600 or a browning BPR if you can find one..dont even know if they made them in 270 and think they quit making them. one of the most accurate factory guns ive seen was a 760 gamemaster in 3006. they make a nice deer rifle. light and easy to carry and handle nicely. i thought they might have jamming problems..but my friend wanted to prove me wrong and dumped his mag downrange in quick time..functioned flawlessly. ive always liked them...if you cant find one in 270 go with a 308 or 3006. all are great deer calibers and ammo is easy to find for the 3. all 3 are pretty comparable..

If you want a .270 pump-action rifle, I think your only choice is the Remington 7600 - or perhaps limited-run variations of the 7600. I don't know of any other pump-action centerfire rifles currently on the new-gun market. Have I overlooked something?
