Ruger 77 6mm?
Hey Guys. I just ordered a Ruger M77 in 6mm.It will be blued with a walnut stock. What can I expect from this gun and this caliber? Any idea on trigger pull? What bullet weights are common and available? I normally shoot a 270. I just wanted something new and different. Thanks for any advice.

A quick look at the Remington or Federal website will reveal what loads are available. There is no need for us to list them for you.
You can expect the caliber to be a superb performer that fits in nicely between the .243 and the .25-06. I havne't had a new production M77 so I'm not sure what kind of accuracy to expect. I do know I have a healthy dislike for the three position safety. [:'(]

I have a m77 stainless synthetic in .308. The gun is a solid performer. It shoots a 1" 3 shot group at 150 yards, in my hands. Someone else might get better. The three position safety does take some getting used to, but I don't find it to be that bad after getting accustomed to the gun. I mounted a Nikon 4 x 12 x 50 on it and I am very pleased with the combination. I have owned this gun for 4 years.
