split my time between my S&W 686, 700 Mountain Rifle and 700 Custom... the Mountain Rifle is my back-up gun generally... in case something happens to the other one...

my favorite would have to be the savage 110 .270 i havn't had any problems with it and sure is great for the deer

Remington .270 Bolt Action. The reason is:

It doesn't kick that much...but it will knock a deer down! I aslo used my cousins Browning 7 mag.

m94 30-30 in the thick stuff, or Tikka 308.
This year I will be carrying a Rem7600 in 308, I'm trying to find a middle ground between the first two.

As I've said before my favorite rifle is my Browning A bolt in 280 rem cal.

This year though I will be hunting with my newly finished Custom Rem 700 in 6.5-284 cal. "Trued" action, Douglas Premium Air guaged barrel, Curly Maple stock. Pillared & Glassed. Shoots sub .5 MOA off the bench.
