In other words it's a toy that is used in those shooting games,not carried for serious work.
Yup, that's what the Marine Corps thinks of them when they decided to order them for the troops instead of Glocks. The very sharp pointing tip of America's Spear decided that they wanted the best combat pistol money can buy.

Briman, why do so many 1911 shooters practice stoppage clearance drills, cause they have to!
Anyone who wants to be the best that they can be with any semiauto, needs to practice clearance drills. All semiautos have the ability to jam, whether or not a person automatically defaults to a clearance drill or stands staring at their weapon like a deer caught in the headlights, depends on how they practiced and trained.
