Mossberg ATR
Just purchased a Mossberg ATR rifle in .243. For a $287 rifle it shoots pretty good! But, like you'd expect from a $287 rifle the trigger leaves a lot to be desired. Can the ATR triggers be cleaned up and smoothed out? I did an internet search but turned up nothing. Thanks in advance.

RE: Mossberg ATR
From what my gunsmith says, any trigger can be improved. Expect to pay around 60 bucks but it is worth it. Funny. Seems whan I buy a cheap gun, then do the work on it to get the trigger right, put a decent recoil pad on it, I am usually paying around what a base model mid priced gun costs. But hey it is always fun getting a gun shooting right.
You have yourself a good gun and I would reccomend the trigger job and don't be afraid to spend good money on a scope. Some of the best deals out there are the Sighton SII and the Burris Fullfield II\
