The Ted Williams Model 300 was manufactured by Winchester and is a Model 1400. From what I can find it was manufactured in the mid-Seventies.

Im sure your right, but I would have thought the Ted Williams would have been made in the 60's. Leave it to sears to be behind!

Are there any owners of this shotgun model who care to comment on it's performance?

You may check into the value of that gun! Ever since he died those guns have gone through the roof. I had a Ted Williams 22 and it was so shot out it woulden't even cycle and traded it to the Kittery Trading Post and they gave me $200.00 just because it was a Ted Williams. I was up and up with them and told them it didn't work and they didn't care so check it out. I did this right after he died so it could have been timing I don't know.
