Default Inexpensive Rifles

I don't have a whole lot of money and want to get a rifle. I have been looking on the internet for a few weeks now and cannot find a rifle under $300. Do you know of any that are and if so what caliber are they? I am looking for something capable of taking varmints and deer. Thanks a lot.

Take a look at the NEF Handy Rifle in 243, Not sure what the exact price is but know it is under $300. www.hr1871.com

you should be able to find a used 30-30 in excellent condition for under $300 with no problem.

buy a shotgun news at your local magazine store and look at old military rifles too. You'll be able to get an excellent deer rifle (caliber) in decent shape if you shop around for about $100 plus shipping.

dick's sporting goods had a savage with synthetic stock, simmons scope, and in several calibers: 243, 270, 30-06, and 7mm mag for $319. That is the best deal I have seen around. I had just got done shopping for a rifle when I saw that one. Walmart and several other sporting goods stores will have the same sale at different times.
